TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The owner of the online store Haakaa Baltic (hereinafter referred to as “Haakaa Baltic”) is Brand Bar Ltd, registration number 42103095332, located at Rīga, Sapieru iela 3B – 14, LV-1012.

  1. Validity of Contract of Sale, Product and Price Information

1.1 The conditions of sale apply to purchases of goods from the online store Haakaa Baltic.
1.2 The prices of the products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products. A fee for shipping is added to the price. The shipping cost is calculated based on the chosen carrier and the location of the purchaser, and is displayed in the shopping cart upon checkout.
1.3 Pictures on the website are for illustration purposes only, and some differences may appear between the image and the actual product.
1.4 All prices are in Euros (€). VAT is included at a rate of 21%.
1.5 Product information is provided immediately adjacent to the product in the online store, as well as in the tabs below for more detailed instructions on product features, usage, dimensions, and more.

  1. Placing an Order

2.1 Add the desired products to your shopping basket to order them. Fill in all of the required fields and choose the most suitable shipping method to complete the order. The total cost is then displayed on the screen. You can pay securely via the following payment methods offered by Haakaa Baltic:

  • Bank payments in Latvia: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor
  • Bank payments in Lithuania: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Šiaulių Bankas
  • Bank payments in Estonia: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, LHV, Coop Pank
  • Card payments: Visa, MasterCard
  • Gift card: Haakaa Baltic gift card (if applicable)

2.2 The personal data necessary for the execution of payments is transferred to authorized processor Maksekeskus AS. The contract enters into force when the amount payable is transferred to the bank account of Haakaa Baltic.

2.3 If we cannot deliver the ordered goods due to stock running out or for any other reason, the purchaser will be informed as soon as possible, and the money paid (including the shipping cost) will be refunded promptly, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notification.

  1. Shipment

3.1 Goods are shipped to the following countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.
3.2 If the client desires to deliver goods to other countries, they must find a local distributor or can contact us, and we will redirect them to the local distributor.
3.3 Shipping options: Omniva and DPD parcel machine partners.
3.4 Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days, and delivery takes up to 5 business days.
3.5 Haakaa Baltic does not process international orders.

  1. Right of Withdrawal

4.1 The Purchaser has the right to withdraw from the contract and return the goods within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • The product has not been used, and for sterile products, the safety seal on the packaging remains unbroken. This condition applies to products that come into direct contact with food or intimate areas, as well as products involved in processes such as breastfeeding, nasal cleaning, or manicure.
  • The product packaging must be in its original condition, undamaged, and unaltered.

4.2 In the event that the product has been used, the safety seal of a sterile product has been broken, or the packaging is damaged in any way, Haakaa Baltic reserves the right to refuse the refund and will return the product to the Purchaser.

4.3 The Purchaser may exchange the product for an alternative model, size, or color, provided all the aforementioned conditions are met.

4.4 These conditions are critical due to the hygienic nature of the products, as it is essential to maintain their sterility and safety for use.

4.5 The costs of returning the goods shall be borne by Haakaa Baltic. The Purchaser must contact Haakaa Baltic within the fourteen (14) day period following receipt of the product, after which Haakaa Baltic will provide guidance on the return process, address any issues, and arrange for the return shipment.

  1. Defective Goods

5.1 Haakaa Baltic is responsible for non-compliant goods or defects that were present at the time of delivery.
5.2 The purchaser must report any defects within 14 days of receiving the goods by emailing haakaabaltic@gmail.com. After this period, the goods are considered accepted, and the client is satisfied with their purchase.
5.3 Defects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Items that arrive damaged or broken.
  • Products that are not as described or have missing components.
  • Products with functionality issues that were present when delivered and are covered under warranty.
  • Any defects in the product that affect its intended use.

5.4 When reporting defective goods, the client must provide photo proof of the issue. Video documentation will be considered an additional positive outcome for resolving the claim.
5.5 Defective goods do not include items that have been used or mishandled by the purchaser or defects arising after delivery due to improper use.

  1. Direct Marketing and Processing of Personal Data

6.1 Haakaa Baltic only uses the personal data entered by the purchaser for processing the order and delivering the goods.
6.2 Haakaa Baltic forwards personal data to the transport service provider in order to deliver the goods.
6.3 Haakaa Baltic sends newsletters and offers to the purchaser’s e-mail address only if the purchaser has expressed their wish to receive them.
6.4 The purchaser can opt-out of receiving offers and newsletters at any time by contacting us via email or by following the instructions in the email.

  1. Settlement of Disputes

7.1 All complaints made by a purchaser about Haakaa Baltic must be emailed to haakaabaltic@gmail.com.
7.2 If the purchaser and Haakaa Baltic are unable to settle the dispute by agreement, the purchaser may contact the Consumer Dispute Committee for resolution. The resolution of disputes by the Consumer Dispute Committee is free of charge for the purchaser.
7.3 A purchaser may also turn to the dispute resolution bodies of the European Union.
